Simon Galante Zaga is a founding partner of Grupo GDI and CEO of Fibra Hotel, the second vehicle of its kind founded in Mexico and the first focused on the hotel industry, with over 10 years of success and growth through the BMV (Mexican Stock Exchange). Mr. Galante has over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector, including structuring, acquisition, development, and financing of real estate projects. He holds certifications from IPADE and Harvard Business School.
Simon Galante serves as the President of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, leading its objectives for the 2022-2024 period, and is also a member of the Board of Directors.

Alex Zozaya was the CEO of Apple Leisure Group and the founder of AMResorts. He has three decades of experience in the tourism industry, which has allowed him to develop global synergies among the leading brands in the tourism and hospitality industry that make up the group.
In February 2018, Alex was appointed Vice President of the National Council of Tourism Companies (CNET) in Mexico. The CNET is the top representative body of the private sector dedicated to tourism activity in Mexico, and its main objective is to contribute to the growth and sustainable development of the country's tourism industry. In August 2018, Alex joined the Executive Committee of the World Travel & Tourism Council as Vice Chairman for Latin America and the Caribbean. The WTTC provides invaluable services and expertise to the travel and tourism segment while defining future parameters in those regions.
Alex's significant contributions to international hospitality have earned him important recognition in the industry. He has been awarded the title of "Hotelier of the Year" by Alta Hotelería, and CNN Expansión has positioned Alex among the "100 Most Important and Influential Businessmen in Mexico" for seven consecutive years. In 2019, Alex was recognized by Asonahores as the "Champion of Dominican Tourism" for his unwavering commitment to strengthening the country's tourism sector.
In November 2021, Apple Leisure Group, with 107 hotels and 34,000 rooms, successfully sold the company to Hyatt Hotels Corporation. This includes 26 hotels in Quintana Roo that generate 16,000 direct jobs.
Álvaro Vaqueiro

Álvaro Vaqueiro Ussel Head of Corporate & Investment Banking for BBVA México, Álvaro Vaqueiro is Head of Corporate & Investment Banking for BBVA México, based in México City. He heads a team of professionals who work with wholesale clients offering financing solutions, transactional products and consulting on their growth and risk management strategies in the financial markets. Previous to this role, he was Head of Global Markets at BBVA Mexico.
Mr. Vaqueiro sits on the Board of Directors of Casa de Bolsa BBVA México, Asset Management BBVA México and Grupo Bolsa Mexicana de Valores. Before coming to BBVA México, Mr. Vaqueiro was with Merrill Lynch, where he worked as Local Products Director for Latin America, based in New York.
Mr. Vaqueiro has a degree in industrial engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, and a MSc in Economic Engineering from Stanford University.
Andrew Strenk

Andrew Strenk has a BA and a PhD in Modern European History from the University of Southern California, where he also taught history for five years. He also has a MA in Eastern European history from the Julius Maximilian University of Wuerzburg, in Germany.
He was a member of the US Olympic Swim Team in 1968 in Mexico City,an event that launched a career of involvement in commercial retail real estate development in Mexico and the southwestern USA. His real estate advisory services company, Strategic Planning Concepts International, has assisted hundreds of multinational and national clients in formulating retail strategies for the last thirty two years.
During his work, he has visited over 10,000 shopping centers and taken over a million and a half photos of retail stores, centers and districts.

Carlos Aiza is Senior Partner and Chairman of Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez. He has worked on the most innovative capital markets, finance and securitization transactions in Mexican history.
In 2018, the Financial Times recognized Mr. Aiza as one of the “10 Most Innovative Lawyers in North America”, the first Mexican lawyer to ever be so recognized. Best Lawyers named him “Lawyer of the Year” in Mexico for Structured Finance in 2020, 2018, 2014 and 2010, for Capital Markets in 2015 and for Banking and Finance in 2012. In 2014, Lawyer Monthly Magazine recognized him as one of the “World’s 100 Leading Capital Markets Lawyers” in its Leading Lawyer 100-Capital Markets, the only Mexican lawyer to have received such distinction. In 2010, Latin Business Chronicle, published by Latin Trade Group, named Mr. Aiza one of the Top 50 Lawyers in Latin America, and LatinLawyer named him “Law Firm Leader of the Year 2010”. He obtained his law degree (JD) from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and his Masters in Law (LLM) from Georgetown University, where he is currently a member of the Latin American Alumni Board.
David Eaton

In his role, David Eaton supports the development of CPKC’s transnational services. With nearly 20 years at the railroad, Mr. Eaton held several leadership roles, including Vice-President Business Development and Customer Service, as well as Vice-President of Operations, overseeing the transportation, operations support and network operations departments. Over the past few years, Mr. Eaton was accountable for customer service, feasibility on-boarding, business intelligence, marketing and nearshoring promotion in the U.S. and Mexico
Mr. Eaton joined Kansas City Southern de México in 2005 as Vice-President Corporate Affairs and Right of Way Protection. He moved to the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing position in 2009. He was responsible for the carload business unit, including the Industrial and Consumer, as well as the Chemical and Petroleum teams in both the U.S. and Mexico.
Mr. Eaton is headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico. He holds a law degree from the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from the Technological Institute of Monterrey (ITESM). He currently serves as President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) Monterrey Division, is a 28+ year member of Rotary and is past president of the National Freight Transportation Association (NFTA).

Gordon Lee is an MD partner at BTG Pactual, where he serves as Mexico Strategist and Senior Analyst covering and the Latin American Real Estate, Cement & Construction, and Media sectors. Gordon has covered Latin American equities since 1994 across a variety of sectors, but always with a focus on Real Estate/Construction. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and prior to joining BTG Pactual in 2012 he spent time at UBS/UBS Pactual, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, and Barings.

Guillermo Zamarripa Escamilla currently holds the post of Executive President at AMAFORE. He is also a professor at ITAM, a columnist at the Excelsior newspaper, a commentator on ADN 40, and an independent member of the boards of several companies.
From 2011 to 2022, he was the Director General of the FUNDEF A.C: Financial Studies Foundation.
Between 2005 and 2010, he was Director of the Banking, Securities and Savings Unit at the Mexican Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP). Within the public sector he has also held other posts, including Vice Chair of the Financial Institutions Oversight Committee at the National Banking and Securities.
He has an MBA from the University of Chicago and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Accountancy from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM).
He has published articles in academic journals and books, including Endeud ndose en la Tarjeta de Cr dito Incorrecta: Evidencia sobre el caso de Mexico (Getting into Debt with the Wrong Credit Card: Evidence from the Mexican Case Study) (American Economic Review) and Cr ditos Relacionados (Appropriations) (Quarterly Journal of Economics).

José-Oriol Bosch is the CEO of Grupo Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV Group) since January 1, 2015, which consists of the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), the Mexican Derivatives Exchange (MexDer), and the Central Securities Depository of Mexico (Indeval). Additionally, the group includes central counterparties for clearing, settlement, and risk management of equity and derivative market transactions (CCV and Asigna, respectively), and an entity dedicated to operational valuation and market benchmarking (Valmer).
Oriol has 35 years of expertise in the financial markets, starting his professional career at Inverlat Casa de Bolsa in 1987, and later working at Citibank Mexico.
In 1992, he joined J.P. Morgan, where he worked until 2014; taking on various positions in New York and Mexico, highlighting the responsibilities he held as Managing Director of J.P. Morgan Chase and Co. (USA), as President and Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan Casa de Bolsa, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Banco J.P. Morgan (Mexico).
Oriol was a member of the Board of Directors, as well as of the Control Trust, of the Mexican Stock Exchange; from its own public stock offering in 2008, until 2014.
Juan Guichard

Juan B. Guichard is Chief Executive Officer of Ammper and INVEX Capital which are subsidiaries of INVEX Controladora. Ammper has become an industry leader in the energy transition with operations in Mexico and Texas, USA. INVEX Capital is an equity investment company focused on real estate and M&A transactions. Before starting Ammper in 2016 and being named CEO of INVEX Capital in 2020, Juan held leadership roles in the infrastructure arm of the group.
Joining INVEX in 2011, he quickly became an agent of change within the company pushing it to invest in new business lines and known as a leader able to instill a sense of purpose in its team. Under his guidance, Ammper has become the third largest electricity supplier in Mexico complementing its offerings with engineering, digital, generation and advisory products that help its clients design and execute their energy transition strategy.
Guichard lives in Mexico City with his family. He earned a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.

Shannon K. O'Neil is the Vice President of Studies and Nelson and David Rockefeller Senior Fellow for Latin America Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. She is an expert on trade, global supply chains, industrial policy, Mexico, and the Americas, and has taught at Harvard and Columbia Universities. O'Neil has lived and worked in Mexico and Argentina, where her career began in emerging markets finance before turning to policy. She is a columnist for Bloomberg Opinion and the author of two books: Two Nations Indivisible: Mexico, the United States, and the Road Ahead (Oxford University Press, 2013) and The Globalization Myth: Why Regions Matter (Yale University Press, 2022).

Spencer Levy is Global Client Strategist and Senior Economic Advisor for CBRE, the largest commercial real estate services firm in the world. In this role, he focuses on client engagement and public-facing activities, including thought leadership work performed in conjunction with CBRE Research. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Real Estate Roundtable’s Research Committee.
Spencer is frequently quoted in major business publications and appears on business television, including CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg, PBS and Fox Business. Spencer is the host of CBRE’s podcast “The Weekly Take.” He is considered one of the most insightful commentators on issues of importance to commercial real estate.
Spencer has 27 years of experience in commercial real estate, including the past 15 at CBRE. In this time, he has served as a lawyer, investment banker, capital markets and senior research leader.
